Statt die offensichtliche bessere Alternative zu bewerben: #Linux

In beiden Fällen.
Einmal als Desktop OS, mal als FreeNAS o.ä.

Hersteller wollen einschränken.
Die lassen sich nicht endlos verarschen und umgehen...

PSA for #GNOME users: Use Pano! It’s an extension that gives you clipboard history like Windows’ Super+V or (on Android) Google’s Gboard. Highly useful! I recommend turning off the sound/icon wiggle, disabling link previews, and changing the click action from paste to re-copy, though.

Ich habe mir immer refurbished Win Geräte gekauft und mit #Mint oder #Ubuntu versehen. Es gibt leider ein paar Applikationen die auf #Linux nicht laufen, so z.B. die #Bundes #AusweisApp. Bislang brauchte ich also tatsächlich einen Win Rechner. Alles andere habe ich total super auf Linux. Da bin ich auch total happy mit

Ever since I switched to #GNU #Linux in my private life, using #Windows at work gives me near-daily headaches. I have full admin rights, yet I constantly fight the system: forced updates, inconsistent behavior, sluggish UI, weird errors buried in the registry.

I used to think this was just how #computers worked. But after experiencing the #freedom and clarity of #FOSS, Windows feels more like an obstacle than a tool.

Going back feels wrong.
